We instigate and operate throughout all our contractual works, a Quality Assurance System to ensure the satisfactory quality of all garden hard-landscaping, block paving and stone-sett installations under our responsibility. Consequently, to generate increased confidence and peace of mind, we offer a fully comprehensive Ten Year Guarantee. The Guarantee is applicable only on installations where branded products supplied and installed by Elegant Driveways comprise at least 90% of the total paved area. The Guarantee will only take effect after satisfactory completion and payment having been made for the full installed value. The Guarantee covers the installation for reasonable domestic use and does not extend to cover damage nor deterioration resulting from accident, misuse, natural weathering, lack of maintainance, impact damage, commercial use and staining caused by any substance whatsoever. The Guarantee covers sinkage of the paved area provided such settlement is in excess of 10mm under a 3metre straight edge or 2mm between adjacent units, as stated in Table B3 Surface Regulations BS7533 Part3. Movememt, expansion or contraction of sub-terrain or sub-base due to climatic changes, water content or tree root activity are outside our natural control, and therefore no Guarantee can be given should damage occur due to these or related factors. In the event of a valid claim, every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that the remedial work is completed in colour, pattern and finish as specified in the original contract. However, due to natural weathering, no assurance can be given that an exact match would be possible. In the event of a valid claim, due to a product fault, we will meet the cost of labour, paving and pertinent sundry materials incurred in the rectification of the fault. In the unlikely event of a valid claim, due to a workmanship fault, we will be entirely responsible in all costs incurred in meeting our obligations. The Guarantee is offered as an additional benefit to the consumer, designed to increase their confidence, assurance and peace of mind. It does not, however, affect any party's statutory rights.
